September 2011 = Back to School

2 Sep

September always feels like a new beginning to me. It’s like back to school for adults. A second chance to start the year anew. It’s the end of summer and the beginning of the rest of the year. Another opportunity to make the year mean something. There is still time to…..

Take risks, especially if they are scary.
Discover your passion and pursue it.
Repair a damaged friendship.
Get organized.
Say you’re sorry and mean it.
Learn a language.
Volunteer at that organization.
Start eating healthy.
Start that exercise program.
Learn Yoga.

Everyday we wake up is another chance to “go back to school”. What are you going to do with your new start?

Make September mean something. Happy September.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” Marianne Williamson

“You have to take risks. We will only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the unexpected to happen.” ~ Paulo Coelho
